Repatriation Case Manager
MPACT Strategic Consulting, LLC (MPACT) is seeking Repatriation Case Managers who will provide ongoing culturally competent case management services to support repatriated Americans because of destitution, illness, war, threat of war, or a similar crisis. A Repatriation Case Manager is a professional who plays a crucial role in social services and human welfare of Americans without immediate access to resources meeting their repatriation needs. They work with individuals and families facing various challenges, such as economic hardship, mental health issues, or child welfare concerns.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities Include:
- Primary focus stabilized comprehensive case support with full resettlement engagement for completion of destination plan
- Provide casework supportive services to assist clients resettle within communities
- Complete culturally sensitive client needs assessments
- Complete culturally sensitive individualized exit service plans
- Provide support with travel coordination and arrangements
- Contact family, relatives, or others to coordinate and remove barriers towards travel
- Complete referrals to community-based programs and organizations
- Completes case notes, data, and information in the case management system
- Coordination with interpretation and translation services
- Complete referrals to immigration legal services
- Complete other tasks as necessary to facilitate delivery of necessary services to clients
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities:
- Repatriation case managers must have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields PLUS a minimum of two years’ prior experience in social worker positions (e.g., child welfare) with direct contact with clients is required.
- Certification as a case manager as determined by the state licensing and certification board is strongly preferred but not required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Bilingual communication skills in (Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew, French, Spanish, etc.) are not required but are strongly preferred
- Case managers must have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to learn quickly and problem-solve.
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have experience with full resettlement engagement for completion of destination plan.
- Must have experience conducting assessments.
- Must have experience creating service plans
- Must be organized as well as, have excellent verbal, written and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families, collaborating agencies, and community professionals.
- Must have strong customer service background
- Must be able to effectively manage significant documentation.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and work independently.
- Must be able to prioritize and be accountable for timeliness to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Must possess sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- Must have the ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize duties and responsibilities efficiently.
- Candidates must pass all pre-employment qualifications.
- Schedule: 8-12-hour shifts
Work Location: Primarily on-site with limited virtual work. MPACT is hiring candidates located anywhere in the United States, however, there is a strong possibility of traveling to on-sites anywhere in the United States to support repatriation operations.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $32 to $37 per hour based on skills, experience, education, etc., including at minimum a relevant bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 2 years social work experience with client contact and bilingual language skills. Higher pay is dependent on more experience, a social work license and relevant master’s degree.
