Ms. Ingrid Jones began her housing and infrastructure experience over 25+ years ago in the areas of property management including tax-credit, multi and single-family management, project/tenant-based voucher program, rehab and new construction development and more. Her Disaster Recovery experience took flight in September of 2005 in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina/Rita which caused catastrophic devastation to the entire Gulf Coast region, primarily New Orleans and surrounding areas. Since then, Ingrid has been employed in several disaster recovery efforts throughout the state and parishes in Louisiana including the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Small Rental Property Program and the Great Flood of 2016. Ingrid’s prior housing and infrastructure experience helped prepare her to facilitate several recovery programs as an Operations Manager to assistance low to moderate income families navigate through those life-altering complicated disasters, as well as collaborate with the state/federal agencies and stakeholders administering the disaster recovery programs. Some of Ingrid’s strong suits are Emergency First Response and applicant Urgent Need Assessments, Program Eligibility, Case Management, Verification of Benefits, Constituent Services, Long-Term Compliance and Monitoring, and Finance/Asset Management.
Ingrid’s MOTTO: “Be the Change you want to see in the World”. In my personal time, one of my greatest Joys is spending time with my Granddaughter Ieri’yn (aka TU~TU). My passion is working with the youth in the Church where I am a state-wide youth director encouraging them to live a life of PURPOSE. As well, I love wedding and event planning/decorating, dancing and going to festivals.
